Let's be sustainable!
Guided by these ethics

Personal Development

We learn from each other, change roles, and grow together by supporting one another.

Community Development

We respect others' opinions and listen to each other. Everyone is included according to their abilities.

Earth Care

We preserve seeds and old varieties. We clean our surroundings and promote soil regeneration.

Who are we?

Zeleno Doba

The Center for Sustainable Development Zeleno Doba was established in 2018 in Slovenia as a result of the youth exchange “We are the key,” continuing the series of YES to sustainability projects under the auspices of Erasmus+. Zeleno Doba is a group of individuals from various fields and different stages of life, united by a shared desire and need to create a platform for community exploration, empowerment, and connection. We operate according to the principles of the “empty center organization” (ECO) of sociocracy and dragon dreaming.

What are we striving for?

Vision, Mission, Values

Vision: A community that operates according to the principles of Dragon Dreaming, Sociocracy, and Permaculture, building a new way of life – a triple “win-win-win” culture.

Our Mission: To live in harmony with the laws of nature. We support and promote the development of sustainable communities, initiatives, and individuals through education, empowerment, and networking.

Values:

Community

We work as a team and decision-making is the responsibility of everyone in the group. We communicate clearly, we respect other people's boundaries and our own, we are benevolent towards ourselves and others, we practice non-violent communication, support is important to us, we are all leaders and followers at the same time.

Win - Win - Win

We listen to and understand each other's needs, striving to ensure everyone receives what they require. We engage in a way where everyone wins—victory for people, victory for the community, and victory for Planet Earth.

Sustainability

Meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. Social, economic and environmental sustainability through innovation, integrity and openness to all that is.

Awareness

If we consciously observe the situations we find ourselves in, we guide ourselves through the process of development.
